Cycle 3
Cycle 3, closing with the Brevet — the first of the four official certificates, and the one where Lycée National holds the most first places.
Grades 7 to 9 lead to the Shahada Moutawassita, the Lebanese Brevet. It is the first official examination of a student’s schooling, and the first public checkpoint on the school’s results.
The roll of honour holds more than twenty laureates in this certificate alone, several of them national firsts — Laure Abou Chakra in 2001, Faten El Hariri in 2004, Jana Tarabieh in 2005, Ahmad Hazime in 2011, Line El Aridi in 2017.
It is also the cycle in which the choice of secondary track is prepared.
