What the section offers
An education of excellence, an opening onto the world
The phrase is the school’s own. The International Francophone Section extends Lycée National’s founding vocation, opened in 1970 with French-language classes.
French as a lever for professional success
In Lebanon, command of French remains a direct differentiator in the job market and at the gates of the francophone universities — first among them Université Saint-Joseph, a partner of the school.
A new era for French teaching
In July 2026 the school announced a reworking of its French teaching, described as “a new era”, then devoted a run of August announcements to the section.
