Cycles 1 & 2
Cycles 1 and 2 of the Lebanese curriculum, the school’s largest block: over eighteen hundred students and sixty-two divisions.
The first six grades lay down the fundamentals of the national curriculum: Arabic, the section language, mathematics, sciences, history and geography, and civics.
It is also the cycle where the complementary programmes come in — UCMAS for mental arithmetic, Little Engineer for construction and logic — and where the first national competitions are won: the school’s first place in Lebanon at UCMAS was taken by a Grade 2 pupil.
