Haitham Fouad Zebian
President, Lycée National Schools
For twenty-five years, tirelessly, he worked alongside his father to develop the schools. He achieved success after success and left a clear mark through his constant pursuit of distinction. He carried the Lycée National banner to the highest academic, cultural, artistic and sporting levels: Prof. Haitham Fouad Zebian, son of the late founder and President of Lycée National Schools.
Prof. Haitham Zebian carries the torch of education, and gathers the Lycée National family — teachers, administrators and students — into a single national stronghold, always insisting on a trinity: the person, the knowledge, the nation.
Lycée National represents close to half a century of education and teaching; a journey full of sacrifice and giving, and a record of distinction, brilliance and creativity that has shown itself at many points in the history of its three schools, in Beirut, Choueifat and Semkhaniyeh. Lycée National today holds close to five thousand students and six hundred teaching and administrative staff.
Lycée National has embraced, raised and formed two generations: the generation of mothers and fathers, then that of their children. It has graduated cohort after cohort and given the nation thousands of educated young leaders, crowned with the laurels of knowledge. They have excelled in national and international universities, most of them earning the highest degrees across every specialisation, and they have entered every field of working life, across the whole span of the globe.
